Experts off insider Disney World vacation tips

I’m at Make It Better Magazine with my favorite article the I’ve written for them to date: Walt Disney World Insider Tips from the Pros.

Jenn Hart of Guru Travel  has traveled to Walt Disney World more than 70 times (I know! So jealous!) and helped create fabulousCinderellas_castle Disney trips for countless families.

Liliane Opsomer literally wrote the book on Disney travel as the co-author of the “Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World with Kids” graciously shared their wisdom and insider Disney World vacation tips

My favorite tips were their restaurant recommendations.

Jenn Hart said, “I look for something I can’t find around home. How many times can you go to a Chicagoland restaurant and Mickey Mouse greets you? How often do you eat peanut-butter rice like you can get at Boma Flavors of Africa in the Animal Kingdom Lodge?”

She explained that her husband likes spicier food but that she prefers milder food. I absolutely related to that as my husband and I have similar palates.

Her solution is the table service restaurant in Morocco, Restaurant Marrakesh, which has items for both adventurous eaters and those with blander palates.

And Liliane offered hope and help to all those who did not get Advanced Dining Reservations six months in advance. Fear not! She said that there are still very yummy restaurants that don’t fill up 180 days in the advance.

Restaurants fitting that bill in Epcot are Via Napoli in Italy and the Biergarten in Germany. If you’re headed to the Animal Kingdom, check out Yak & Yeti. Liberty Tree Tavern will fit that bill in the Magic Kingdom.
