Fans of the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen adore the song “You Will Be Found.” There are also great gifts related to the show to be found online, and I’ve rounded some up here. (My daughter is a huge fan, so shhhhh, don’t tell her what she may be receiving this year.) Check out some of our favorite gifts for fans of Dear Evan Hansen that they will love for forever.
Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich
You hear of books being made into Broadway productions, but this is the reverse. The smash Tony-winning Broadway production was first on the stage and the novel of the story was released in 2018.
Dear Evan Hansen: Through the Window
This book is by the team that brought the musical to life – Steven Levenson, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul – offers a look at all the went on behind the scenes for years to make Dear Evan Hansen the amazing show that it is today.

Kids will love the colors and the longer battery life. Plus, parents will love no longer hearing “My phone died” when you were unable to reach them. This phone case does double duty – protecting the phone and acting as a battery. I can attest that my daughter’s Mophie has taken some hard hits and held up well. And it was a life saver this morning when she said “My battery is almost dead.”
You know how some gifts are much bigger hits than you anticipated? That happened last year with these stocking stuffers. I thought they were fun, but they were played with pretty much all winter and made random appearances throughout the year. These are fun for any age. There area lot of different animals, from unicorns to sharks to to pigs in Hawaiian shirts to holiday options like snowmen, reindeer, and more, so options to match each person’s interests.
12 Days of Beauty Faves
My daughter’s fact lit up when she saw this at Target. It could be great to give as a gift as is and see if the recipient can do one door per day during the 12 Days of Christmas. Another option: all these items are stocking stuffer size. You could be done with just one purchase if you have someone who loves beauty and bath products.
Day Out
Experiences create memories that last longer than most things and let’s face it, the time your kiddo is under the same roof is dwindling. Think about what your tween or teen loves and give a coupon good for a day, or more, out. Get ideas and specifics on experiences as gifts here.
Hint: If you can, schedule the outing for over the holiday break. School pressures aren’t so time consuming and it’s a bit easier to relax together.
My teen loves Alex & Ani bracelets, and I love that they have empowering messaging behind them. They’re a great way to reflect what’s important to your tween or teen, be it a favorite baseball team (Go Cubs!), memorable trip from this year, cause near and dear to their heart, or favorite animal (elephant for my girl).
These are not cheap, but some models were more affordable than I had realized. Make your tween or teen the documentarian of the family gatherings and have them put together movies of the fun. It’s also great for capturing their adventures, be it sledding, skiing or surfing somewhere warm.
Duffel Bag – for gym, dance, practice, yoga, travel anything
Teenagers are notoriously hard on their bags, and famously forgetful when it comes to leaving nasty items inside of them. Getting a fresh one is a gift to both of you, really. However, even if a new one isn’t needed for those activities, it may be good to have a clean one on hand for travel, including college visits. These cute Vera Bradley options are popular among my daughter’s friends.
Star Wars Lightsaber Growing Lab
I would want this even if didn’t have the fun Yoda quote on the front because I love products that make science fun. Add in keeping kids busy over break, and it’s a win for everyone.
Lin-Manuel Miranda has a pretty significant following of tween and teen fans, and the music he collaborated on for Moana is pretty great. It also includes some empowering messages great for tweens and teens.

]]>Hamilton: An American Musical has a legion of very loyal fans. Those who love it really, really love it. (That includes my teen and myself.) There is some fun Hamilton merchandise for those fans, which is much more affordable than tickets to the show in either New York or Chicago. Here are some great gifts for Hamilton fans that you may have on your list.
Great for everyone: Hamilton: The Revolution
This book is a must-read for those who love the musical. I received this as a birthday gift and loved it. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote the show, and Jeremy McCarter, this tome explores the production and the inspirations behind it in great depth with beautiful photos and all the lyrics to every song. The history nerd in me totally geeked out over the footnotes and annotations to the lyrics. Reading this makes it very easy to see how the show won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and eleven Tony Awards.
For the really devoted: Hamilton 2017 Wall Calendar
This may be just the way to introduce younger smartphone devotees to the concept of a written calendar. It’s great for room decor for teens and college students, too.
For those addicted to their phone: Hamilton Playbill Phone Case
Speaking of smartphones, this case for the iPhone 6/6s features the image of a Playbill signed by the stars is pretty great, and perfect stocking stuffer size. This is also budget friendly. (It’s rubber, so perhaps not providing amazing protection, but fun nonetheless.)
Awesome for coffee, tea, and cocoa lovers: Hamilton mug
The Hamilton mug is not only microwave safe, it is also official, licensed merchandise.
Wonderful for a jewelry lover: Rise Up necklace
“Rise up” is a lyric that appears in several Hamilton songs. It has a great deal of meaning and is pretty inspiring. This sweetly simple necklace would make a great stocking stuffer.
Perfect for a reader or history buff: Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow
This is the book where it happened. Miranda took it on vacation with him and the rest is history. At 832 pages, this is a hefty book, but it’s fascinating to learn even more about Alexander Hamilton’s life.
Fun for artistic types: Hamilton: An Adult Coloring Book
With images ranging from Eliza and Alexander’s wedding to Revolutionary War battles, this is great for those who love the show and coloring. It will be available on December 6, just in time for the holidays!
Cat lovers will adore this Hamilcat t-shirt
Aaron Burr is a main character in the show, but Aaron Purr steals the show on this adorable shirt.
Good for musicians: Hamilton: Easy Piano Selections
The music to Hamilton is amazing and learning to play the tunes is pretty awesome. The songs are very simplified so even I could handle them. My daughter who plays flute was able to use this to make out some of the songs. Its worth noting that not all songs are included. (There are 46 on the cast recording.) But those that are in the book are fun and not too challenging.
For those with a sense of humor: Hamilton T-shirt
This line sung sarcastically by King George III gets a lot of laughs and is pretty hilarious. If you’re gifting a Hamilton friend with a sense of humor, they’ll appreciate this.
Ideal for procrastinators: A million things I haven’t done t-shirt
I presume that most Hamilton fans already have the Grammy-winning original Broadway cast recording. On the off chance they do not have it, you can get the soundtrack here and the recently announced Hamilton Mixtape which comes out December 2 here. You can find all the official merchandise from the Broadway production here.
