Presidents’ Day is upon us! Always celebrated on the third Monday in February, I remember being a big deal in elementary school. We learned a lot of about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, both of whom celebrated birthdays in February, hence the timing of the holiday. These two great presidents are huge figures in our nation’s history, and leaders from whom our children can learn a great deal.

It seems like my daughter hasn’t really focused on Presidents at school, but I could just be forgetting or getting a little “walked up hill both ways to school” in my old age. Either way, George and honest Abe are great role models and learning about their lives is The Raab Collection has created a new infographic with facts about Washington and Lincoln on a timeline using original quotes and historical documents to outline defining moments in their lives.
