This post is not sponsored but it does contains affiliate links, meaning I could earn a small percentage of commission for your purchase that will go toward my next Stitch Fix, which I’ll of course review.

Another Stitch Fix arrived and it was a ray of figurative sunshine during four straight days of rain here. I requested the stylist I’ve had for a while now, Carlee, because I adore her. And this time, I left my fix in her capable hands; I didn’t make any specific requests.

"Stitch

It was even more exciting to open the box without any possible idea of what was inside.

"Hooray

And there were some fun items in store, or rather, in box. That said, I’m having a really tough time deciding what should stay and what should be returned. Please share your opinions. And also, kindly forgive some of the photos. We tried to dodge the aforementioned rain drops for them, but it just got too heavy so we moved inside where the lighting is iffy at best.

Danette Skirt by Le Lis

I used to wear skirts all the time but haven’t as much lately, so I was excited to see this one in the box. The fabric was an interesting texture. I feel like the skirt I got curved down in the front more than the one in the image that was cut straight across, which I like better, but it’s not a huge issue.

""

Please forgive the lack of styling here. Skirts like this make me wish I was so very short waisted.

""

VERDICT: Returned. I thought that this was really cute, but there was a snag in it, and I worried that more would follow. I’m going to keep an eye out for another navy skirt or see what Carlee can find for my next fix.

Have Cold Shoulder Knit Top by Le Lis

I’ve never had a cold shoulder top and while I worried about it being age appropriate, I needn’t have. It was fine and both my husband and daughter offered up compliments on it. ""

I did wonder about the yellow, but I think I like it. I loved that the detailing carried over to the back, and that a normal bra works nicely with it.

"Love

VERDICT: Kept. I’m a fan!

Sheila Knit Dress by Le Lis

It feels like this would be a fun dress for a Fourth of July party, or any other summer soiree, as my stylist suggested.

""

I wonder, though, if the polyester with a bit of spandex will be all that breathable. I think I’d like it more if the top was less blousy (is that a word?)

"Le

VERDICT: Returned. While I really liked it, there were issues on the hem where stitching didn’t match up, and it wasn’t quite even. The width of the navy stripe at the bottom varied from one side to the other. Those imperfections aren’t okay at this price point.

""

Valerie Tie Wrap Knit Top by 41Hawthorn

This top is one of those that looked much cuter in person than in the photos, which has me really torn.

""

Also, I had to include the full length photo with the shoes from this fix last year. I thought they were cute with this shirt, though again, they weren’t quite as cute together in the pictures as I thought they were in person.

"41Hawthorn

VERDICT: Kept. My husband and daughter both voted yes and I opted to go with them.

Abrienne Split Neck Cap Sleeve Knit Top by Daniel Rainn

""I’m a sucker for polka dots, and was surprised to find stripes on the back of this top.

"Front

VERDICT: Returned. I liked this a lot, but it was pretty shapeless and a little pricey. I liked the other two shirts better.
