There is much to look forward to in 2017.\u00a0Disney\u2019s \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d is at the top of the list for both me and my daughter. It’s a live-action re-telling of the studio\u2019s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience.<\/p>\n

I’m eager to see this new interpretation of my favorite animated Disney film. It will be in theaters everywhere on March 17, 2017, and while we wait, here are the top\u00a0ten\u00a0reasons I’m excited for “Beauty and the Beast.”<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nThe sumptuous visuals<\/strong><\/p>\nThe poster alone is gorgeous, so image what a visual delight the movie will be. I’ve loved both Lumi\u00e8re, the candelabra,\u00a0and Ewan McGregor for decades now. That they will be in one and\u00a0the same has me over the moon. I love that they have stayed true to the iconic movie I love so dearly while also not being afraid to add in new items.<\/p>\nEmma Thompson is Mrs. Potts<\/strong><\/p>\nNeed I say more? I think not. It seems everything he touches is amazing, and I’m sure this is no exception.<\/p>\nBooks!<\/strong><\/p>\nI’ve always loved Belle in part because we share a love of books. I’m often saying, “Gaston, you’ve got to pull yourself together!” in my best Lefour voice.
