“I must see it! It is not<\/em> an option to not go see Finding Dory<\/em>,” my daughter said after seeing the latest trailer for Finding Dory<\/em>, which is out in theaters on June 17th.<\/p>\n

To say we are getting excited for Finding Dory<\/em> would be an understatement. To tide us over until it comes out, check out the trailer and meet some of the new characters below!<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n<div data-canvas-width=\"264.6053333333333\">\n“We\u2019re introducing new characters\u2014each with his or her own unique voice. Everyone has something special to offer, which makes it fun and elevates the whole story,” says Director Andrew Stanton, who also directed Finding Nemo<\/em> and Wall-E<\/em>. Dory’s quest for her family takes her, Marlin, and Nemo across the ocean to California\u2019s prestigious Marine Life Institute, a rehabilitation center and aquarium, where many of the new characters reside.<\/p>\n<\/div>\nI’m excited to get to meet Hank, the cantankerous octopus who frequently gives employees the slip, voiced by Ed O’Neill. Well, actually, Hank is a \u201cseptopus\u201d because he lost a tentacle\u2014 along with his sense of humor\u2014somewhere along the way. But Hank is just as competent as his eight-armed peers. Hank is after one thing\u2014a ticket on a transport truck to a cozy Cleveland facility where he\u2019ll be able to enjoy a peaceful life of solitude. Destiny, voiced by Kaitlin Olson, may be a clumsy swimmer, but she has a big heart. She has a big everything, actually\u2014whale sharks are the biggest fish in the sea. Destiny resides in the Marine Life Institute, and Dory falls into her pool.
