I love festive food, and these\u00a0 reindeer pancakes are a cute and easy Christmas breakfast. They are sure to make your breakfast fun and festive.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Cook your favorite kind of breakfast sausage links. We are suckers for the maple syrup sausage – so good! (You can make these ahead of time, or you can get them started and let them cook while you get started on the pancakes.)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

2. Make pancakes. You can use your favorite mix, or this basic pancake recipe<\/a> from Martha Stewart that I used when realizing we were out of pancake mix. Make the pancakes in the usual circle shape and just before flipping, add two chocolate chips for eyes. Put them in with the flat side facing out.<\/p>\n

3. When pancakes are finished, all you have to do is assemble. Place sausage as antlers. I cut the sausage links in half length wise so that they would lay flat, and you can cut even smaller pieces for the tips of the antlers.<\/p>\n

4. Use a maraschino cherry for a nose. A raspberry also does the trick.<\/p>\n

That’s it! Cute and easy. And no, they likely won’t be perfect, as my picture clearly shows, but they don’t have to be. They’re fun, and they’re going to be eaten pretty quickly, so no worries.<\/p>\n
