This was a long, hard winter for a lot of us but I dare say that I think it is on its way out. It looks like spring is really here and I couldn’t be happier about that fact – spring makes everything seem better and brighter. I have a long list of items I’ve seen far too little of the past several months and need more of this spring, including warm temperatures, green grass, bright colors, and good friends.<\/p>\n
Thankfully, I’ll get more of the last two this coming weekend when we are attending surprise birthday party for a neighbor – an adult, even. <\/em>Best of all, the party has an 80’s theme. I’m sure it’ll be rad. (See what I did there? To clarify, I do not use “rad” frequently, although I’m guilty of saying “dude” more often than I should.) I’m planning to wear something fun for several reasons:<\/p>\n 1. I don’t have to wear 10 million layers any more!<\/p>\n 2. My clothes that are not heavy sweaters miss me. (Okay, fine, it’s me who misses them.)<\/p>\n 3. You can’t really Walk Like an Egyptian or properly Wang Chung in something drab.<\/p>\n 80’s fashion is too fun to pass up, and it is all about bright colors. Really<\/em> bright.\u00a0 To get my clothes party ready, I’m relying on Persil ProClean laundry detergent to perk up my clothes and make the colors pop, just like I like plan to pop the collar on the Izod I have for my husband to wear.<\/p>\n I like to have fun anywhere I can, including my laundry room, as you can see from what I’ve put on the wall in it.<\/p>\n Persil ProClean detergent is popular in Europe and now you can find it in the U.S. at Walmart. \nThe snazzy bottles fit right in and the Persil I received to try out was already dressed up. I admit it, I’m a sucker for a cute bow tie, and it classes up my laundry room. I liked the bottles and they were so new and shiny that it motivated me to do a bit spring cleaning with my washing machine. It’s all spiffy now, too.<\/p>\n\n
<\/a>I will say that the Persil products have a strong, fresh scent. I have a sensitive nose, so I definitely noticed it. I was fine, but if you have a very sensitive nose, you may want to sniff before purchase to make sure it works for you.<\/p>\n<\/a>After:<\/p>\n<\/a>Better, right? So much better that I’m planning to wear a white shirt with fun neon accessories. And leg warmers. And a big side ponytail. Because 80’s party.<\/p>\n
