In reply to Laura. Thanks you so much! I used to be an adjunct at a law school and agree that the Chevron top would be perfect for the teaching wardrobe. Never would have thought of pairing it with mint shorts - so fun. Makes me want a pair of those now!

I loved your Stitch Fix! I teach at a university during the school year so I am a SAHM during the summer months. I received the Chevron Abstract top in a previous fix for my teaching wardrobe. But because these types of blouses are so thin and flowy, dressed down, they make great summer tops! I just wore that top yesterday tucked in with a pair of mint shorts and a coral belt. I felt trendy and put together but still comfortable and cool enough to run my girls around to their camps and go grocery shopping! Also, I think you look stunning in that dress!

Thank you so much for the input! I really appreciate it! Glad to know I’m not the only one hoping for casual day wear. And the dress is “hand wash only” so perhaps a good thing that I wouldn’t wear it all that often? 🙂 I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve shrunk a couple Stitch Fix items by assuming they could be washed and not checking the tags. I think there needs to be an option to request “mom clothes” on Stitch Fix and I think we can all agree that means that they have to be comfy and machine washable and dryable?

As a SAHM of a toddler, I understand when you say something is “too dressy” for everyday. I actually struggle with that with my own Stitch Fix stylist (what part of “hand wash only” says “mother of a one year old?”). But, that Pixley Millie dress looks great on you! It wouldn’t be for everyday, but it’s the perfect dress for date night or a wedding! I also like the Collective Concepts Phelan blouse on you!
