I love my Soda Stream also because I’m not paying for seltzer and always running out. The fact that I’m using tap water to make my drink is a bonus! You do pay for the carbonators but I use a discount coupon for Bed Bath and Beyond or Staples.

This looks like a good idea. Thanks for the post! Hopefully it will deliver to smaller communities like ours in the future. We drink a lot of water at our house, and I love you the idea of not needing to lug the bottles home from the store! I am looking forward to trying those sparkling waters to slow down my soda consumption– glad they don’t have artificial sweeteners!

Thanks so much, Katie! I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve learned about how Nestle approaches recycle, but to your point, we loved the water cooler (and heater – adored that I could get hot water for my tea) which Meg dubbed the “guggler” which we used to fill up our water bottles (and tea mugs) Happy hydrating, my friend!

Such a nice clip into your family life – thanks for sharing this! Totally need to drink more water in our household too! The one piece I would raise- we’re just gotten a SodaStream maker in the house and love it. I appreciate it b/c it feels like I’m being good to the Earth too (reusing the same container to make my selzer). I realize that plastic water bottles can be recycled, but wonder if the water bubbler or soda stream maker might be the greener way to go in the long run vs. having individual water bottles. Love the work you are doing, Shannan!
