I come from a long line of teachers, including my parents and my grandmother. In fact, my parents met when they taught at the same high school. I’m very grateful for them as well as the wonderful teachers that I have had and who have educated my daughter.
World Teachers Day has been observed on October 5 since it was designated such by UNESCO in 1994, but we should honor them every day. As one way of doing so, here are some of my favorite inspiring quotes about teachers.
